Poco has launched a new smartphone in India called the Poco C61. This phone is aimed at the budget range, meaning if you’re looking for a smartphone under 10,000 rupees, around 7-8 thousand rupees, you now have another option with this phone. Let me walk you through this new device.

Poco C61 Specifications

This is a new smartphone in Poco’s C-series. In the design department, the company has introduced a circular camera module surrounded by a radiant ring design, setting it apart slightly from other budget phones.

Display: The phone features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Camera: At the back, there’s an 8MP camera with an AI lens and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 5MP front camera.

Processor: Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC chipset with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

OS: It runs on Android 14-based OS.

Battery: The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging and a USB Type-C charging port.

Connectivity: Dual SIM 4G, Wi-Fi 5 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and several other features are included.

Other Features: For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Price and Availability

The phone comes in three color options: Diamond Dust Black, Ethereal Blue, and Mystical Green. It’s offered in two variants based on RAM and storage.

The first variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at 7,499 rupees. The second variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at 8,499 rupees. Sales for this phone will begin on March 28th on Flipkart.
