PM Modi Varanasi Visit: PM Will Give A Gift Of More Than Rs 13 Thousand Crore To Varanasi

PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday (February 22). PM Modi will kick off several development projects today (February 23). Officials said that on Friday, the Prime Minister will interact with participants of the MP Knowledge Contest, MP Photography Contest, and MP Sanskrit Contest at the Independence Building of Kashi Hindu University. During this time, the Prime Minister will also felicitate five prominent participants.

According to officials, the Prime Minister will visit the birthplace of Sant Guru Ravidas around 11:15 a.m. After that, he will participate in the 647th birth anniversary celebration of Sant Guru Ravidas. On Thursday night, the Prime Minister tweeted, “After reaching Kashi, I inspected the Shivpur-Fulwariya-Lahartara route. This project was recently inaugurated and has been quite beneficial for the people of the southern part of the city.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on Twitter, “Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi is actively working with determination to give concrete shape to the resolve of developed India. In the same series, tomorrow he is coming to Varanasi district to gift various development projects worth more than Rs 13,000 crore. These projects related to education, roads, industries, tourism, textiles, and health sectors will be extremely helpful in realizing the vision of developed Uttar Pradesh.”

PM Modi will also inaugurate the largest plant of Amul

Officials had said that during the program, after unveiling the grand statue of Ravidas, PM Modi will also address a public meeting. After that, PM Modi will inaugurate the largest plant of Amul, Banas Dairy. This project will provide direct and indirect employment to nearly one lakh people. The income of farmers and dairy farmers in Purvanchal will also double with the commencement of this dairy. The company will also pay a percentage of its profits to dairy producers at the end of the year.

Foundation stone laying for several projects to improve road connectivity

It has been reported that PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several road projects, including NH-233’s Gharghara-Bridge-Varanasi section, to further improve Varanasi’s road connectivity. In order to accelerate industrial development in this area, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate various foundational projects such as the HPCL’s LPG Bottling Plant in Sevapuri, the Banaras Cluster Milk Processing Unit of UPSIDC Agro Park Karkhiyawav, UPSIDC Agro Park, various foundational structures in Karkhiyawav, and a common facility center for silk printing for weavers.
