OpenAI Video Creating Service: Last Thursday, OpenAI announced an artificial intelligence model called Sora, which can create realistic videos up to one minute in length with the help of text instructions. However, OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, stated that this tool is still in the research stage and has not yet been made available with the company’s products.
OpenAI Launches Sora
The company’s CEO, Sam Altman, posted about the new AI product through his ex (formerly known as Twitter) account, saying, “Today, we’re starting red-teaming, and for now, it’s only available to select creators.” In a post made through his ex account, he further explained Sora’s capabilities, writing, “We want to show you what Sora can do, please send captions for the videos you want to see, and we’ll start creating some videos!”

Videos Made by Reading Captions
In response to this post, a user replied with a caption about a blue-robed magician. Responding to that caption, Altman posted a video made with Sora, depicting a white-bearded figure dressed in blue robes covered with stars.
OpenAI described their new video creating service, saying, “Sora can create various complex videos with multiple characters, various types of motions, precise details of the subject, and different backgrounds.” Additionally, the company mentioned, “Sora can also create multiple shots within a single video.”
